A technologist and a software engineer, Pasha Probiv, MS, CDPSE has been consulting for companies and helping them build software applications for financial wellness and payment systems for 20 years. After building a secret application for a family wealth management fund he realized that the security of the software plays a more significant role than its features. He decided to focus on digital security, which led him to co-found White Hack Labs in 2018. As chief executive officer, he has led the company to achieve early success, having been named Most Promising Cybersecurity Solutions Provider, Best Customer Data Protection Solutions Provider in the Eastern USA and Best for Privileged Access Management Solutions, among many other accolades.
Prior to embarking upon his professional journey, Mr. Probiv earned a Master of Science in mathematics and computer science from Far Eastern National University in Russia in 2005. He is also a Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer through the Information Systems Audit and Control Association. At the start of his career, between 2009 and 2011, he served as a contractor for ENK International, Expan Inc., PriceWaterHouseCoopers LLP, Flywheel Sports Inc., Syncro Services LLC, OpenSky Project Inc. and NYPPEX Private Markets. He went on to excel as chief technology officer of RobotFruit Inc., Wale Up and PayCargo LLC, as well as platform architect for AUGMATE, director of engineering for AD60 INC. and site reliability engineer for Axoni through 2019.
Mr. Probiv attributes his success to his ability to identify the root cause of an issue or a phenomenon, regardless of whether it occurs in a technical or non-technical space. He believes that identifying the root cause is crucial not only to resolving the problem but understanding how things truly change. He also believes finding and retaining great employees is the most important contributor to the company’s success. Looking ahead, Mr. Probiv hopes to continue to grow his company, particularly in the FinTech space, as he is looking to provide financial technology companies with more services and digital tools and to continue to service the industry. Additionally, pursuing a law degree is something that he hopes to accomplish in the future as well. To remain abreast of his field, Mr. Probiv holds membership with the Information Systems Audit and Control Association.
